South Central fell to Woodlawn 18-25, 24-26 in a non-conference matchup Tuesday night.
Prior to the Varsity match, South Central Coach Mary Brimberry was honored in a surprise ceremony. Brimberry, who will retire at the end of this season, has been at the helm of the South Central volleyball program since 1994, taking just one season off for medical reasons during that time and amassed a record of 559 wins and 199 losses heading into the current season. Brimberry’s squads won 10 Regional titles and one Sectional title across that time as well.
