IHSA released postseason pairings for volleyball Friday afternoon.
In 2A, Vandalia received a #5 seed in the Salem Sectional and will play in the Teutopolis Regional. The Lady Vandals will take on #11 seed Salem in the regional quarterfinals on Monday, October 28 at 6:30pm. The winner would then face #3 seed Pana in the semifinals.
Also in 2A, Greenville earned the #11 seed and will host the Regional. The Lady Comets will play #7 seed Hillsboro on Monday, October 28 at 6:30pm. The winner would then face #3 seed Staunton in the semifinals.
In 1A, South Central will host a Regional with St. Elmo-Brownstown and Ramsey also being assigned to the Regional. #9 seed St. Elmo-Brownstown will play #8 seed Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City on Monday, October 28 at 6:00pm. The winner would then play #1 seed Altamont in the semifinals. South Central earned a #4 seed and will face #12 seed Ramsey on Tuesday, October 29 at 5:30pm and the winner will move on to the semifinals to play the winner of the other quarterfinal match between #6 seed North Clay and #11 seed Clay City.
Also in 1A, Mulberry Grove is a #13 seed and will play in the Mt. Olive Regional where they will face #4 seed Bunker Hill on Tuesday, October 29 at 5:30pm.
