St. Elmo-Brownstown went 1-1 on Saturday to finish the Montgomery County Invitational Tournament with a 2-3 record. In Bronze Flight play Saturday morning, the Lady Eagles lost to Morrisonville 25-22, 22-25, 6-15 before bouncing back with a 25-18, 25-16 win over Nokomis to finish in 11th Place. SEB is now 4-9 on the season and will be back in action on Monday when they face Ramsey at home.
Ramsey went 1-1 in the Copper Flight on Saturday to complete tournament play with a 1-4 record. Ramsey fell to Litchfield 18-25, 16-25 before beating Calvary 25-20, 16-25, 15-5 for their first win of the tournament. Ramsey is now 2-7 on the season and travels to SEB on Monday.
