South Central moved to 2-0 on the season after a 25-19, 25-23 win over St. Elmo-Brownstown on Thursday evening. The win marked two straight NTC matchups won for the Lady Cougars early in this season and Coach Mary Brimberry says that is big for her young team.
And St. Elmo-Brownstown Coach Jeni Haslett says it was hitting errors that led to the Eagles beating themselves in the match.
South Central is 2-0 on the season and will be back in action Saturday at the Altamont Tournament. SEB is now 1-2 on the season and will play in the Mattoon Invitational on Saturday.
